What I likely underestimate is my own vulnerability to this technology. The psychological and neurological mechanisms that sort real from imagined [...] don’t always check in with the part of you that might know better. They don’t consult your AI literacy or your PhD or your healthy skepticism about OpenAI’s privacy policy. They run underneath all of that, and they trust pictures.
